Who we are
We are a leading platform for reporting community issues across Australia and New Zealand. We empower hundreds of thousands of users to improve their shared spaces by reporting everything from fallen trees to accessibility issues.
We provide over 850 organizations — our "Solvers" — with a cloud-based SaaS platform to understand, triage and solve reports. From councils across Australia to utilities like Telstra and NBN, we help them move the needle on community maintenance. With over 7 million reports sent, we’re a high-impact tech company on a mission to be the go-to platform for communities everywhere.
What we’re looking for
-
A versatile designer who strives to design beautiful, accessible web and mobile experiences that people love to use.
-
You’re excited about the intersection of great design and AI and possess the expertise to build scalable design systems while moving quickly in a growth-stage tech company.
As our new Product Designer, you’ll be:
● Designing Across Channels: Creating seamless and cohesive user journeys across our mobile app (iOS/Android), responsive webforms, and complex partner portals.
● Building with AI (xAI): Applying Explainable AI principles to ensure our automated features are transparent, trustworthy, and enhance—rather than replace—the human experience.
● Evolving the Design System: Maintaining and scaling our design library in Figma to ensure visual consistency and speed for both the design and engineering teams.
● Partnering on Discovery: Working closely with the PM to turn discovery insights and user feedback into high-fidelity prototypes and validated designs.
● Navigating Priorities: Transitioning seamlessly between shipping immediate UI improvements ("quick wins") and architecting the long-term UX value of the platform.
● Prototyping & Testing: Rapidly concepting and testing ideas to determine product-market fit and ensuring our solutions solve real-world community problems.
About you
Essential
● Scale-up DNA: Previous experience in a small but rapidly growing tech business. You understand how to maintain high design standards while moving at scale-up pace.
● Multi-channel Portfolio: A strong body of work showcasing your ability to design for both native mobile apps and high-density web dashboards/SaaS products.
● AI/xAI Curiosity: A deep interest in or practical experience with designing interfaces that leverage AI, with a focus on user trust and agency.
● Design System Mastery: High proficiency in Figma and experience managing or contributing to component-based design systems.
● Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a "thought partner" to Product Managers and Engineers.
● Communication: Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Desired
● Accessibility Focus: A strong understanding of WCAG standards and inclusive design practices.
● Prototyping Skills: Experience with advanced prototyping to test complex interactions before they hit development.
● Commercial awareness: An understanding of how design decisions impact business goals and user retention.

● Clear and predictable core collaboration hours aligned with UTC+8 / Australia-friendly time zones
● CNY 20k to 30k per month (super need to be self-arranged) plus bonus

Application
● English requirement: Please make sure you have work proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing). You need to confidently work in a pure English environment. All the documents provided should be written in English. All the interviews will be conducted in English
● Process
