We are seeking a mission-driven product design leader to help craft the future of the company.

Our mission is to empower everyone to reach their full potential. This is a tele-health platform providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients of all ages in San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles in California with anticipated expansion outside of California in 2020. Our tech-assisted hybrid approach takes the traditional mental health care to a new level.

We are a rapidly growing startup with an ambitious & strong team. The position is for ambitious people who thrive in fast-paced, self-motivated environments.

Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of business context, excellent execution skills, and strong leadership capabilities. In addition, since the product and design team is a core service function that represents the company in its activities, success in this role requires partnering closely with the CEO to ensure the experience and branding are fully aligned with company culture and values.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an individual contributor role. Experience in hiring and managing a team of high performing product designers, user research and has a strong grasp of implementing accountability towards key milestones and activities across these team domains; while at the same collaborating effectively with other organizational leaders in Product, Growth, and Business Development.

• Extremely detailed oriented with a solid understanding of building usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users.

• Bonus experience if you have experience working at a healthcare or marketplace companies (One Medical, Oscar, Airbnb, etc).

• Bonus experience if you can code and are comfortable with an engineering-driven culture.

• Bonus experience if you're also a visual designer / storyteller / influencer / illustrator / photographer.

• Data-driven. You’ll leverage data to improve and iterate.

• Improve and build experiences and systems. You’ll identify, prioritize, and quantify design improvement.

• Drive innovation. You’ll connect the dots and prepare the product team to tackle future challenges. You’ll anticipate and prevent bottlenecks before we hit them.

• Collaborate. You’ll collaborate closely with all functional areas within the Company (Medical Team & Marketing, BD, etc.) to deliver clean and elegant solutions.

• Project management skills. You have experience managing projects across multiple teams with demanding timelines.

• Excellent organization and time management systems.

• Proven to be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to take ownership of tasks to ensure swift resolution.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, willing to get hands dirty.
