Role Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our team. This individual will be instrumental in shaping our product's user experience, applying their strong aesthetic sense to bring a sense of simplicity and intuitiveness to our solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with every aspect of the UX process, from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. The candidate should have a mastery of Figma and be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the product team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

2. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to create user-centric designs.

3. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

4. Perform usability tests and gather feedback to continually refine and iterate user experience.

5. Maintain and develop UX guidelines and ensure that the design is aligned with the product's vision and brand expectations.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product management to ensure a smooth, research-driven product development process.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

2. 5+ years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

3. Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, and OmniGraffle.

4. Extensive experience with using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

5. A strong portfolio of previous works must be presented demonstrating both your conceptual and executional design skills.

6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete designs.

8. A keen understanding of the product lifecycle, with proven expertise in design execution from ideation to the final hand-off to engineering.

9. Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
