招聘&找人Full time Backend Engineer for waii.ai (Backed by top-tier VC in the US), remote location

Location: Remote (anywhere in the world)

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers and partners to create the best-of-breed AI-driven SQL API, enabling them to build AI right into their products.
• Design and implement the experience for Waii’s SaaS and on-prem offerings: SQL generation, AI-powered auto-complete, generative visualizations, performance copilot, migration assistant, knowledge graph services, and much more.
• Participate in defining the product strategy of an early startup. This role is part of shaping everything that will come.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field. Solid grasp of the fundamentals.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in the enterprise data and AI space. Expert in one of the backend languages, Python, C++, Go, and Java. We use Python as our backend language. So strong in Python is a plus.
• Strong in one of the fields: Kubernetes, Cloud Ops (AWS, etc), Database kernel development and optimizations, and Distributed systems.
• Track record of innovation and early-stage development. Ability to build, fail, and iterate. Desire to operate from first principles.
• Desire to grow and scale.
• Good English communication skills, for both verbal and written English.

Bonus Points:

• Understanding of SaaS and open-source software development
• Deep experience with LLMs, Machine Learning, SQL, data warehouse, and BI tools
