In my old home, I didn't have English classes, until middle school will teach. Because of study in Beijing for one year at primary school. Getting started before my classmates in the same grade gave me a lot of limelight in my English class. Therefore English teacher like me more than the others, she always focuses on me. But, thinking highly of myself led me to decline in grades. In the third year, even appear to fail the exam. The teacher called me into the office to talk, I still remember to this day, those words have been driving me in my heart. Because of her, I still love English, including the language. So I hope my English can improve again, not for exams, just to communicate.

I want to use programming to achieve a function,but i failed.

Last,this function complated successfully after throught a lot of target learned.

This makes me understand knowledge has no limit.

A few years ago, I joined a new team, I found the way they were using git very insecure. So I tried to promote the merge request style to restrict code that was not reviewed by other people. But some people refused to participate in the promotion meeting. They felt they were too busy to fix bugs, and had no time to make merge requests, they used to push the code directly to the main branch.

So I changed the strategy, not promoting the whole team, just some of the features. I learned that I couldn't apply a new work style directly. Especially when I was not familiar with the individuals. After a few months, the number of bugs in these features had dropped significantly. The way of merge request was finally rolled out to the entire team.

Later when I do something that may cause a major change, I always prepared well, firstly do a small pilot test, and then use the successful result to promote my idea more powerfully.

several years ago, I wrote a coding program about class tools by PHP. I found a bug in the core section that I could fix it. so I changed one line code that it can't run. Then, I rolled back the code and let them run normally. Thus, I could find the reason why it can't run out, the code had ‘cplist’ and ‘cpList’ both, ‘K’ and ‘k’ both, it is mixed code. So I thought this core code has been changed many times by many more people and that the code has not been a long time maintaining code.

so I fixed it in one week. I rebuilt the core code, the code should be easy to maintain and easy to read. And as a programmer, we should think of lots of sections about the app, so it can make the app run stable.

To be a reliable and professional employee at work.

When I just graduated from university, I got my first job in a company that provides online loans to customers. One day my leader gave me a task to get connect with a bank channel so we can charge money from users' accounts. There was an amount of money as a parameter pass to the remote bank api. I forgot why I used a recursive method to calculate the fee and made a bug of it. It will boost the amount by 10 folds in a branch and my boss CTO encountered it. I was so embarrassed when his account was withdrawn by 7k which should be 700 in a test flow. Fortunately, the money finally went to our company account and it just lost some handling fee. Thanks to my boss, he didn't punish me and he said this is your first big failure in your career, I wish you never forget it. From that, I never forget to test my code and check whether the amount is correct or not. I take the unit test as the most important thing especially in a financial task. Never make a mistake with money and your programme must be a reliable one. Or you will be bankrupt for your big failure.

About 4 years ago, I quit my job to start a business For open game

Store. I do have not any experience to be a boss, It is just like the same when I work for someone, Finally, was failed I lost all the money saved entire my Lift, and back to Beijing and started to find a job.

Firstly I lost direction,I did not what to do, and even not know my future would be. I have learned three things about this trip.

1. if you really start a business, you must be an expert in your start area, your market your customer, and where your earning money .

2. you should be prepared, If you failed you will lose all your money, even if or not can accept this situation, if you can’t you should not start any business.

3. You should change your role, learn how to run a business, and communicate well with your customer.

4. during this, when I make any decisions I will consider more overall good things or bad things. Now communicating with others is not a problem.

I sometimes failed in learning new knowledge, especially remembering them. As a developer, I always work with some common concepts, like encoding, characters, Unicode, etc. I remember I met a difficult time figuring out the concept of them and their difference. But after some days I forget everything, just still memorize some vague meaning. That makes me feel disappointed, I failed to get them, and have to spend time repeating myself.

So I think it's a vicious circle, which is inefficient. So I start to find some learning material, I found a professional tool, I think most of you know, named Anki, it used the theory named spaced repetition, it can help us recall the memory by practicing every day, with the question-answer card we make, can help us improve the quality of studying.

After that, I begin to build some cards, about some aspects I find difficult to comprehend and memorize. By practicing for several days, I feel like have a better understanding of the knowledge, it lasts longer in my mind, and when I encounter the same problem, I can react better, and it works.

Now I'm still struggling with learning, but I learned some strategies to get a better result.
