Responsibilities
• Take ownership of product quality strategy and test planning
• Designing, writing, reviewing and executing test cases.
• Be a quality advocate in the development team, advocating for a quality mindset and culture
• Involved in the whole QA lifecycle, from test planning, test execution, bugs tracking to product delivery and maintenance
• Explore the latest technology and constantly improve testing process, testing methodologies and efficiency of the team
• Perform firmware release verification, validation and documentations
• Raising and logging issues found during test case execution and exploratory testing
• Working with the team to troubleshoot and investigate bugs raised
• Performing integration and regression testing as part of the release cycle
• Learning about different software/hardware products and helping the team to maintain comprehensive test suites
• Work in the team to help deliver quality across various technologies used in the business
• Help to define acceptance criteria and release process.
• Foresee and identify the cause of quality issues. We prefer to prevent issues rather than chasing them.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Programming experience in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, C++ or C#)
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks for client-server application
• Able to work both independently and cooperate with other teams
• Initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness of the entire team
• Good knowledge of embedded software release verification and validation process, tools and concepts
• Good analytical and communications skills
• Good knowledge and understanding about SDLC.
• Familiar with Bug management tools such as Jira
• Ability to design and create QA documentation
• Experience in website testing.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with specific attention to quality and
details.

• Experience in Selenium IDE is a plus.
• Experience in API testing is a plus.
• Experience in non-functional or Security testing is a plus.
• Good English verbal, written and spoken.
• Experience in Agile methodology i.e. SCRUM
