Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Sourcing Associate to enhance our China operations team. Collaborating with our China team, you'll play a key role in optimizing our supply chain, managing purchase orders, and ensuring product and shipping documentation accuracy. Acting as the primary liaison between MAU Brands and suppliers, your efforts will be critical to our growth and operational efficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
1.Supplier Communication: Serve as the main contact for existing suppliers, managing purchase orders and communications efficiently to meet company objectives and forecast
2.Purchase Order Review: Examine purchase orders for pricing accuracy and adherence to agreed terms, including quantity, specifications, and delivery timelines.
3.Shipping Documentation: Manage shipping documents (CI/PL) for customs export and import, ensuring compliance and smooth transactions.
4.Product Inspection Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and third-party inspectors to conduct thorough inspections of our products, ensuring they meet our quality standards and specifications before shipment.
5.Internal Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, including quality control, logistics, and product development, to ensure all ordered products meet our rigorous requirements. This includes managing a comprehensive checklist and timeline for product readiness and compliance.
6.Supplier Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms to benefit our company while upholding quality and ethical standards.
7.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and supplier landscapes to identify cost-saving and quality enhancement opportunities.
8.Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet our standards.
9.Logistics Optimization: Collaborate with logistics and supply chain manager to optimize shipping strategies, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
10.Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts, focusing on favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
11.Inventory Management: Support inventory control efforts, ensuring accurate forecasts and order placements to maintain optimal stock levels.
12.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across departments to align supply chain initiatives with broader company goals.
Qualifications:
1.Fluent in English and Mandarin.
2.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related.
3.At least 2 years’ experience in sourcing, purchasing, or similar in an international
setting.
4.Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5.Proficient in multitasking and detail-oriented tasks.
6.Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
7.Independent worker and collaborative team player.
8.Flexible work hours for global communication.
