Trubit Accounting Lead【Remote】

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Accounting Operations

• Maintain day-to-day accounting for TruBit Wallet and TruBit Pro, including:
  • Trading fee income recognition
  • Rebate/commission calculation for users and market makers
  • Cost allocation of gas fees, promotional rewards, and liquidity mining 2. Revenue Ledger & Reconciliation
• Design and maintain journal entries integrating:
  • API-extracted platform trading data
  • Chain-level data
  • Cold/hot wallet balances (USDT, ETH, BTC, L2)
• Reconcile discrepancies between on-chain data, custodial balances, and ledger

1. Month-End Close

• Submit monthly:
  • Sub-entity financial reports (Wallet + Pro P&L)
  • Digital asset balance report by token and wallet
  • Deferred revenue recognition ledger for active user deposits

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with:
  • Product team to validate event-based income logic
  • MM/BD team on rebate schemes and retroactive corrections
  • Controller on consolidation and elimination entries

Requirement
1.Education Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
2.Experience 5+ years in accounting roles; 2+ in crypto exchange or DeFi accounting preferred
3.Technical Stack Strong proficiency with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent ERP
4.Crypto Tooling Familiarity with Bitwave, Cryptio, or Ledgible
Knowledge Deep understanding of crypto revenue types, wallet infrastructure, cold/hot segregation, and GAS cost treatment
5.Audit Experience Has supported or led financial audits in fintech/crypto
Soft Skills Highly organized, self-directed, analytical; excellent written English
6.Timezone Flexibility Must be available to support US + LatAm overlap hours
