Are You Really Suited for a Remote Job?
Before diving into the world of remote work, it's important to ask yourself this question: Am I truly suited for a remote job? Many people hesitate, thinking, I don't speak English well, so it's hard to find a remote job, or I prefer staying in my local area. These are valid concerns, but they shouldn't hold you back.

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on what it takes to succeed in remote work. What skills do I need to master? Some people have suggested learning Node.js to expand my opportunities. While it’s true that mastering a new stack like Node.js might take around four months, I keep asking myself: Why can’t I find a position that matches the skills I already have as an experienced software engineer?

This question has been on my mind constantly. Over the past five months, I’ve tried taking on freelance projects, but none of them have been stable. These jobs often demand a lot of time while offering very little income in return. This is not a sustainable path forward.

Shifting My Focus
For the next step, I’ve decided to focus on specific areas that genuinely interest me. I’m considering writing technology blogs and learning the Node.js stack to explore new opportunities. Writing blogs can not only solidify my knowledge but also help me connect with others in the tech community.

One important thing I’ve realized is this: Anxiety doesn’t change anything. Instead, we need to set clear goals and take action. The future is uncertain, but the only way to find out what’s possible is to try. Just do it, and see what happens.

Moving Forward
Once I’ve made progress—whether it’s mastering a new skill or finding a stable remote job—I plan to share my experiences in another blog post. Let’s see where this journey leads.

For now, if you’re in a similar situation, my advice is this: don't be afraid to take small steps, stay focused, and trust the process. You might be surprised at what you can achieve.
