Responsibilities
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and clients to understand user needs and project requirements.
● Design and prototype graphic user interfaces elements like menus, tabs and widgets for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools .
● Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively improve the user experience.
● Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
● Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to health IT and healthcare industry standards.(Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images)
● Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the final product.
● Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a positive design culture within the organization Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
● Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
● Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
● Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
● Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Requirements and skills
● 4 to 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
● Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
● Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop or similar.
● Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. ● Experience with responsive design for web and mobile applications.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
● Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
● Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
