上次因为海外远程战疫的行动，认识一个加拿大的华人朋友Jessie Wang.她和她的朋友一直在做一件很酷的事：分享找工作过程中的各种经验，目的是帮助到更多的华人朋友，顺利找到IT相关的工作。
她博客上的一些经验的分享文章非常实用，我抽空一一搬运过来给大家。

简历是找工作的敲门砖，面试官通过简历来了解你的专业技能，即使学的再棒，技术再好，在面试之前，面试官对你的了解也仅仅来自于简历。简历就是你的个人名片，好的简历给你更多面试的机会。有了面试，你才有进一步展现自己才华的能力。Jessie来给你解剖简历如何写才能体现你自己，获得更多的面试机会。也欢迎已经参加工作的朋友们来分享写简历的技巧，如果你有做面试官的经验，也请在这里以面试官的角度来分享面试官最看重的是哪一部分？

简历一般包含以下几个部分：

Objective

Education

Technical Skill

Academy Project

Working Experience

Volunteer Experience（optional）

首先说说OBJECTIVE，这个部分用一两句话来说明求职者的优点和技术，并说明自己的求职目标。Objective有概括整个简历的作用。

一般两三句话就可以了，求职者的优点和技术要和公司最需要的技术能力相匹配，体现你会给公司带来什么benefit。

过长，职位目标不明确，技术要点不匹配都是不可取的。在投递不同的公司前根据公司和职位进行相应的修改。

It is typically one or two sentences long. The most effective objective is one that is tailored to the job you are applying for. It states what kind of career you are seeking, and what skills and experiences you have that make you ideal for that career。How are you going to fulfill the needs of the company

来两个例子，会更容易明白：

1. Dedicated and motivated engineering graduate seeking entry level assistant quality control manager position with ABCD(company name)

2. Hard working business management graduate with proven leadership and organizational skills seeking to apply my abilities to the position of junior assistant to the CEO at **** Financial. Tech, LLC.

3. Hard working and self-motivated Computer Programmer graduate with 3 years working experience in java seeking entry level software tester position With Nokia

Education

教育背景是比较容易写，唯一需要注意的就是在简历中的顺序

1. 如果有申请职位的相关工作经验，那么把教育背景放在经验的后面

2. 如果你刚刚转到一个新的行业，或者没有任何从业经验，把你最新完成的学历写在前面。

总的来说，与工作经验相比，哪个跟你要找的职位关联性越大，就把哪个放在前面，让面试官先看到。

例子：

Computer Programmer Diploma 2017-present

Algonquin College, Ottawa, ON

Electrical Engineering Master degree 2005-2008

***** University, China

还没有毕业，找coop或intern工作可以用以下方式来写：

In progress

Anticipated + date

Expected + date

Expected Graduation + date

To be completed + date

Technical Skill：

要简洁明确，跟工作需求尽量去match。不是越多越好，面试官会根据你的简历问问题，不会的都写上去也是在给自己挖陷阱。

关键的两点：

分类： programming language， database， operating system，development platform 。。。。

主次：重要的，主要的放前面，次要的，简单的放后面。

例子

programming language： Java, PHP, Javascript, CSS, Html.

working experience:

新毕业的学生：上学期间的大作业，不管是独立完成的还是自己完成的，都是很好的经验，特别对于计算机方向的毕业生，不要轻视学校的project，其实跟上班后的小的demo级别是差不多的，上学期间认真做作业，在大作业基础上扩展，是很不错的经验，对找工作非常有帮助。

首先来说说很多朋友在写工作经验的误区，把侧重点偏重于这个项目是做什么的？而实际上我们应该侧重体现在一下几个方面：

1. 你在项目中参与了哪个方面的工作，比如需求分析，项目设计，编码，测试，版本发布等等

2. 在这个项目中应用的技术，Java， PHP，Javascript 等等。

3. 在这个项目中你解决了什么样的问题，使得项目有哪些提高？—-用数字说话。

Active word：design, develop, implement, create, maintain, build, grow, construct, fabricate.. there are plenty of variations of the verb.

Five key points for each company.

Try to explain the impact of the work you’ve done. “Designed and implemented new X that resulted in Y% increase in synergies and $Z in cost savings”. Focus on accomplishments. Maybe X% of Y due to refactoring code.

For IT the important parts are what tools they worked with and what they did with them。
