Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile English speaking Research Assistant based in China. This remote role is ideal for an individual with a strong command of the English language, familiarity with software and technology, and an ability to adapt to UK working hours (specifically UK mornings / 5-8pm China, (flexible). The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our consultancy work through various tasks, including editing English articles via AI, conducting online research and presenting findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread English articles, with an understanding of software and IT-related content and business management topics.
• Conduct online research to gather information on potential clients and market trends.
• Utilize modern software tools for documentation and research work, including Airtable, Notion, G Suite, Miro, etc.

Qualifications:

• Excellent command of the English language. With either one of the following certifications: IELTS: 7.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT: 100 or higher, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency (Cambridge): C1 or C2 level, TOEIC: 850 or higher.
• Background or experience in IT (Product management experience is desirable), software, or a related field is highly desirable. We are not looking for coders.
• Proven experience in online research and data gathering and presenting summary results of the research
• Adapt to UK working hours, particularly being active during UK morning times / 6-9pm China
• Demonstrate proficiency in using AI tools like ChatGPT, including access to GPT-Plus.* Proficiency in modern software tools such as Airtable, Miro, G Suite, ...
