About the role
As a lead level engineer, you will lead a small 3-6 full-stack agile team, which directly impacts the platform growth. The role is expected to collaborate with Chope merchant product owners as well as with stakeholders across the feature plan, tech solution, and engineering delivery.

Work in a full-stack agile team to deliver product features and stability features

Design and develop high-quality backend systems using PHP or Go programming languages

Provide technical solutions for both functional and non-functional features
-
Provide solid and reliable documentation on completed work items such as code, concepts, business logic, and logistics

Follow application architecture standards, policies, and procedures
-
Ensure the code is optimized and the platform performance is not affected
What Are We Looking For:
-
5+ years of essential Golang development experience
-
Good experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment (like MySQL, ES, Redis, Ngnix)

Good Knowledge of OOP principles and best practice in Go programming
-
Possess excellent communication with the product owner, designer, and stakeholders
-
Knowledge of performing unit testing and make use of Git
-
Reliable knowledge of design patterns, Database
-
English and Mandarin communication skills is essential
While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered:

Familiar with the agile development process and basic team management skills

Familiar with Go / PHP

Familiar with front-end programming languages and frameworks
