Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a talented team of developers and engineers who are passionate about building innovative solutions. Drawing on your experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed platforms, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new backend services.

Collaborating with our front-end developers, you will ensure our server-side components are functioning optimally to deliver high-performance applications. You will use your expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Python or Golang and Computer Science to write testable, reusable, and efficient code while running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.

At our company, we value innovation and encourage our engineers to recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will leverage your understanding of fundamental design principles and previous experience designing complex systems to develop solutions that meet our customers' needs.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 7 years of experience as a backend developer, who has worked in a similar role at companies like Amazon, Netflix, or other tech startups.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience as a backend developer

• Familiarity with Node.js/Python/Golang, MongoDB and front-end technologies

• Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed platforms

• Understanding of fundamental design principles and previous experience designing complex systems
