We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager and an UI designer to join our team and lead the development and evolution of our POS system.

Job Description:

Position Overview:
As a Product Manager for our POS system, you will play a pivotal role in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our POS product line. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver a world-class POS system that meets the evolving needs of our customers and ensures our continued market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our POS system. Understand market trends, customer needs, and competition to drive product direction.

2. Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and priorities. Define features, enhancements, and releases to drive product development.

3. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements. Ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development.

4. Product Development: Work closely with engineering and design teams to oversee the product development process, from concept to launch. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

5. User Experience: Focus on delivering a seamless and intuitive user experience by defining user stories, wireframes, and design specifications.

6. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the POS space. Use this knowledge to make informed product decisions.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and promotional materials. Support sales efforts through product training and documentation.

8. Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product performance against these metrics. Make data-driven decisions to optimize product features and functionality.

9. Customer Support: Act as a subject matter expert for the POS system, providing guidance to customer support teams and assisting with complex customer inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a minimum of 3 years in the IT industry.
• Strong understanding of POS systems and related technologies.
• Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

As a UI Designer for our POS system, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall usability and aesthetics of our product. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and user experience, to craft compelling and intuitive user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UI Design: Design and maintain user interfaces for our POS system, including user-friendly layouts, navigation elements, and interactive components that deliver an exceptional user experience.

2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts. Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing.

3. Visual Design: Develop visually appealing graphics, icons, and visual elements that align with our brand guidelines and enhance the overall look and feel of the product.

4. User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions. Ensure that the UI design is intuitive, efficient, and aligns with user needs and expectations.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure the seamless integration of UI designs into the product development process.

6. Responsive Design: Create responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices, providing a consistent experience for users.

7. Usability Testing: Collaborate in usability testing sessions to gather insights and refine designs based on user feedback and behavior.

8. Design Documentation: Prepare design specifications and documentation to guide the development team in implementing UI designs accurately.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing relevant design work for web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to create responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Experience with animation and motion design is a bonus.
